Microsoft may launch Surface Pro 5 in Q1 2017.
It appears Microsoft has quite some plans for the next year. The Redmond-based software giant is reportedly planning to launch the next version of its Surface Pro hybrid - Surface Pro 5, in 2017.
According to a report on Economic Daily News website, the new Surface Pro 5 is likely to pack a 4K Ultra HD display, along with a magnetic stylus having wireless charging support.
Just like ll previous Surface Pros, the Surface Pro 5 is also expected to be manufactured by Pegatron. However, Microsoft may also bring in Quanta Computer for Surface Pro 5's manufacturing. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.
The report further adds that in addition to the Surface Pro, strong sales of Microsoft's recently launched Surface Studio AIO are expected to boost Pegatron's performance as well.
It was recently revealed that Microsoft is working behind-the-scenes to make its Windows 10 OS more friendly to gamers. The company is reportedly developing a dedicated 'Gaming Mode,' as hinted in the latest build of its Windows 10 OS.
