POCO X3 GT Launch : Price and Specifications


 POCO X3 GT has been launched globally and the company has revealed the phone’s price and complete specifications. It is the latest offering in the company’s X3 lineup and comes as a rebrand of the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. The handset has a centre-positioned punch-hole camera, a rectangular rear camera module, a side-mounted fingerprint, and a textured rear panel. Key POCO X3 GT specs include a 6.6-inch 120Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC, and a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast-charging support.

POCO X3 GT sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1100 nits brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 custom skin out of the box and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast-charging support.



POCO X3 GT packs triple cameras at the back, consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens for close-up shots. It has a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, VC Liquid cooling tech, and JBL powered dual stereo speakers. It measures 163.3 X 75.9 X 8.9mm and weighs 193 grams. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync

Reliance Jio may extend free offers until June 30 at a nominal rate.

After a six-month free run which ends on March 31,  Reliance Jio  Infocomm subscribers may continue to enjoy data services at a nominal rate, combined with free voice calls, for another three months. The Mukesh Ambani-owned operator is working out a new tariff plan which will be valid till June 30, said people familiar with the developments in Jio as well as analysts. Unlike the earlier free offers that incumbent telcos have termed predatory, the latest introductory offer will charge a fee of about Rs 100 for data, while voice will be free. “We have to start making revenue,” one of the persons mentioned above said. Jio did not respond to emailed queries sent by ET. The company’s free voice and data offers have attracted over 72 million subscribers in four months after its commercial services were launched on September 5 last year.
